About National Secretary General, SA4SA

They call him “Mr Delivery” because that’s what he does. Bongani Caluza built his name as a Councillor in Umzumbe, Ubuhlebezwe, and Harry Gwala District — in chambers and on the streets, pushing for water, roads, and answers. He knows municipal government from the inside, with a National Certificate in Municipal Governance to back it up. For him, service delivery isn’t a slogan. It’s work.

His leadership goes beyond politics. As Presiding Bishop of the New Methodist Church of Africa and President of Church Without Borders, he’s stood with communities that get ignored. He holds a Diploma in Theology, but his ministry has always been about justice, not just Sunday preaching. That same spirit drives him as President of Activist South Africa, where he runs self-funded campaigns on the hard issues others avoid.

Today, as National Secretary General of SA4SA, he’s putting that experience to work for the poor. The mission is clear: uproot poverty, redress unemployment, fight inequality, and make leaders account. He lives the principles — Discipline, Respect, Proactiveness, Selflessness — because he’s one of us. Activist. Bishop. Public servant. Still delivering, on the ground, with the people.
